My development expertise encompasses the annual fund; major gifts; campaign readiness, planning, and implementation; volunteer recruitment, training, and management; and building more effective boards of directors. In addition to these development activities, I have strong analytical skills, ample understanding of how nonprofits work in practice, and a breadth of experience in project management that stretches beyond development and fund raising. My role as a coach and trainer preceded my development career by more than a decade.
I am open to exploring a hands-on role – essentially a free-lance position – on a part-time or interim basis, as well as a more traditional consulting role. I will consider taking on projects unrelated to fund raising or development, if they interest me and the requirements are a strong match for my skill set.
